What is your primary product or service?
We are board-certified allergists providing diagnostic services & treatment for children & adults with allergy & asthma problems. Common allergy problems include hay fever, allergic conjunctivitis, recurrent sinus and lung infections, hives, eczema, asthma, food allergies and anaphylaxis.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My girlfriend's younger brother and sister had terrible asthma and were frequently hospitalized. I married the girl and became a physician specializing in asthma and allergy.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We try to be patient and family-oriented. We try to be available, to have humans answer the telephone, to get back to people when the same day, to explain things clearly, to say "Yes" as much as possible.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location with no immediate plans to expand. We recently expanded to 2 physicians in the office every weekday.

We're on the seventh floor of the Mills Square Office Tower, 100 South Ellsworth, San Mateo. Wells Fargo is on the 1st floor. Covered parking is available underground - and we pay for your parking.

San Mateo County but patients come to us from San Jose, San Francisco and the East Bay.

I own the company. Daily operations are shared between my office manager, Bonnie LeMar, and me.
