About Susty Kids, Inc.
Susty Kids, Inc.™, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, develops programs for girls (Susty Girl™), boys (Susty Boy™) and girls and boys together (Susty Kids )that inspire these children as they learn, retain and apply sustainable practices into their lives, families and communities.
Susty is short for sustainability and our key focus is to work with children between the ages of seven and eleven to teach them to learn more about sustaining their bodies, their minds and their planet. The Susty Kids movement begins in our own backyard: the San Francisco Bay Area.
Core to our mission is our belief in peer-to-peer connections that we define as the Kids2Kids™ Network. Every day, children around the world engage in sustainable practices, self defined groups or word of mouth (WOM) advocacy. Susty Kids is committed to enriching this existing and successful K2K behavior because it promotes long-term development of confidence, self-regulation and leadership and a strong sense of community.
Our in school and after school enrichment programs are offered at no cost to the children and their families. Our goal is to level the playing field by giving every child a chance to learn about sustainable initiatives regardless of who they are or where they come from. They are our communities agents of change. We rely on the generosity and kindness of our donor base.

• Encourage healthy eating with locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs
• Highlight outdoor activity and exercise
• Emphasize the importance of balancing the body, the mind and the planet to make the world a better place to grow.
• Empower each Susty Kid to become the next generation of sustainability leaders. They will become tomorrow’s teachers, a master gardener, a chef, a musician, a writer, a poet, an oceanographer, or perhaps even a naturalist. When given the right set of Susty tools for their toolboxes, the possibilities are endless!
